Here we’re glad to present the 2022 annual report of VATS. Till 2022, VATS has a total of 83 Editorial Board Members from 15 countries. 28 articles have been published last year with 50% Review Article. Corresponding authors came from 5 countries, with mostly from USA and Italy. According to the Google Analytics, website visitors of last year grew up to 34,296 with 82,862 pageviews. Several columns/special series are going on, including the new ones, “VATS Chinese Edition”, “Interviews with Outstanding Authors (2022)” and “Interviews with Outstanding Guest Editors”. Meanwhile, we’re also exciting to update that according to the news from Web of Science, Clarivate Analytics, VATS will attain its first impact factor in June 2023 (relevant news at https://vats.amegroups.org/announcement/view/194). This will not only be a new landmark, but also a great encouragement for all supporters of VATS.
