This focused issue on “New Technologies for Advanced VATS” is edited by Prof. Dominique Gossot from Department of Thoracic Surgery, Institut Mutualiste Montsouris, Paris, France.

Prof. Gossot is the current Head of the Thoracic Department at the Institut Mutualiste Montsouris Hospital in Paris, France. He received his basic medical and advanced surgical training at Paris VI University. Dominique’s primary clinical focus is the development of advanced thoracic endoscopic techniques and technological developments in minimally invasive surgery. As a prolific academic surgeon, he has published more than 148 papers with over 81 as the first author.
